According to art. 13 of the Regulations of the Department of Engineering, the Orientation and Tutoring Commission is established.
The Guidance and Tutoring Committee is composed of the Director of the Department (or his delegate), the Coordinators of the Degree Courses (or the professors delegated by them) and 2 students elected by the representatives within the Department Council. The current composition of the Orientation and Tutoring Commission is as follows:

The Orientation and Tutoring Committee ensures reception, support and assistance to students in order to guide the choice in the phase prior to enrolment, to prevent dispersion and delay in studies and to connect the course of study with professional outlets. The Commission supports initiatives aimed at helping students overcome any difficulties in starting studies and to allow them to continue their studies profitably and to link the course of study with professional outlets. In addition, the Commission proposes preparatory and intensive educational and training activities, support and remedial training, aimed at allowing the fulfilment of any educational debts as well as access to the first year of the course, tutoring activities aimed at ascertaining and improving the student's preparation through a personalized in-depth study of teaching for the overcoming of specific learning difficulties.
