Teaching Observatory

The Teaching Observatory of the Department of Engineering was established by resolution of the Department Council on February 28, 2023, with the aim of monitoring and coordinating the educational offer in alignment with the University Strategic Plan.

During the meeting of May 21, 2025, its functions were further expanded, strengthening its role not only in monitoring, but also in proposing and coordinating actions aimed at improving the quality of teaching.

The Observatory is composed of the Delegate for Teaching, all Coordinators of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs, the Coordinator of the PhD Program in Engineering, and the Head of the Department’s Teaching Unit.

In particular, the Observatory is responsible for monitoring the achievement of the Department’s strategic and operational objectives, analyzing any critical issues related to the educational offer, and proposing targeted actions to enhance the attractiveness and effectiveness of the Degree Programs, operating in close synergy with the Quality Assurance groups of each Degree Program.

At the end of each year, the Teaching Observatory prepares a report on the activities carried out, which is then presented to the Department Council.
